Meet Dr. Anna
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Dr. Anna. I trained as a physician, and I’ve spent years working in pharmaceutical industry and clinical trials. I’ve read the studies. I’ve seen how drugs get approved. I’ve also seen how much of what reaches the wellness internet ranges from mildly oversimplified to flat-out wrong.
That gap is why this site exists.
Somewhere between the prescription pad and the protein powder aisle, there’s a layer of health advice that almost nobody is covering well: how the food you eat, the routines you keep, and the products you put on your skin actually affect the way your body feels, functions, and ages. The research on this is real. The problem is that the loudest voices explaining it to you often have no medical training, or they’re trying to sell you a $90 bottle of something.
I wanted a place where women who care about their health could get that information in plain English, with the science intact and the fearmongering removed.
What you’ll find here:
- Gut health and anti-inflammatory nutrition – because inflammation is at the root of more chronic issues than most people realize, and the food piece is more actionable than the supplement piece.
- Science-backed skincare and haircare – because your skin is often the first place inflammation shows up, and the beauty industry needs way more physicians and way fewer influencers.
- Routines and habits that are actually sustainable – for real schedules and real energy levels, not a Pinterest-perfect morning that requires being awake at 5am.
What you won’t find:
- Extremes, quick fixes, or “this one food will cure everything” nonsense
- Supplement stacks I’m being paid to recommend
- Diet culture dressed up as wellness
- Advice I wouldn’t give a friend
I built The Balanced Ritual for women who want to feel better but are tired of being talked down to, sold to, or scared into buying things they don’t need. If that’s you, I’m glad you found me.
